I have eaten at Patty’s place several times, everyone is very friendly. The atmosphere is just as good, customers are even just as friendly. Sad to say that today’s experience was the end of my dining there. I was just finishing up my breakfast when I watch a waitress clean a spill with her hands and a napkin off the floor. The waitress threw the soiled napkin away but did not wash her hands, instead she grabbed her pad , took another order and then proceeded to get a steak knife for another customer to use. I am sorry but hands should be washed after every cleaning detail you do. It makes me wonder what else goes on without us knowing. I just happen to be lucky enough to see this action in person today.

Patti is terrific and her food is even better. We stop there on the way to the Berkshires every time. Breakfast or lunch, you can't go wrong!

Just stopped by Patty's while on a nice country ride. We really enjoyed their Beef Barley soup which had huge chunks of brisket. Also the Camper's Beans has perhaps 4 types of beans and bacon, chopped meat and beef. This is a real gem of a place. They grind their coffee beans fresh. Great Coffee BTW. The signs on the wall are a hoot. I wish it were in my town. I even got to meet Patty! She has been running the place since 1990!

Friendly service good food at a good price

Thomaston, Connecticut.It is a very nostalgic place. The owner Patti, has been serving a fantastic breakfast for 30 years. She makes everyone feel like family. Their coffee is the best. We ordered 2 eggs, bacon, and home fries. Along with rye bread. It was perfectly cooked and great quality.

A great place to eat & catch up on local news. I adore their cranbury nut chicken salad( chic & nuts). Hot home fries with your eggs, terrific service, everyone super helpful and this is definitely the hub of this small town.

Good food at a great price friendly staff 😊the only reason it gets 4 stars and not 5 is the seating is very close together even the toilet is in the kitchen area it’s all just huddled a little too close together but that’s my only issue with the place

I absolutely adore this place... Best mom/pop diner in Connecticut hands down... You simply must try their burgers... Breakfast croissants sandwiches... Oh yeah... Home fries there are like grandmom made them every christmas morning... And when bread pudding is on the menu you bet your sweet tookus its sold out before lunch!!! I come from 4 towns away just to enjoy this place!!! And always take some thing extra home so i can enjoy it later as well!!!

A great place to have good a fresh breakfast. Patti is very friendly and warming. She makes you feel like family. She talks to everyone who has breakfast and makes sure everything is good. Definitely a great place .

Good old fashion dinner. They have a "Pie man" so be sure to save room for a piece of home made pie.

Someone else's review will have to tell you how great lunch is, because I always stop here for breakfast when I'm visiting! The food here is amazing and never disappoints. Nine seats at the counter where you can chat with the crew, or have a seat at one of the seven tables and just enjoy your food and company! If you're in the neighborhood, check this place out!

When we visited Patti's Place it was agreed this down home no frills eatery served up the best dirty burger in New England. Friendly service. Local color.While we were there was a cop at the counter, swilling down a jug of coffee and a slice of pie. Boss Hogg physique. Shiny honey-roast ham complexion. Exchanged gossip about mutual friends with the middle aged waitress as she went about her business. Done eating, he looked out the diner windows, saw a VW van painted Grateful Dead and flower power hippy colors. The cop got up, made some quip about protect-and-serve and unofficial tolls and narcotics, waddled back to his vehicle. Drove off after the van. Didn't pay. We figured this rubber stamped Patti's Place as authentic local flavor.

They serve large dishes and for reasonable pricing. welcoming staff members. Keep it up.

Patty is one of the most wonderful people I have ever met. Her restaurant is the hub the town revolves around Everyone there is absolutely as friendly as could be. You may go there as a customer but you will end up as a friend. The food is great as well as the service. I can't start off my day without breakfast there..

Waitresses are smokin hott from mature to young women

Patti is amazing, so is the entire staff. I call in for breakfast every Sunday morning and pick it up when I get off work. They know exactly who I am, they know my order, its ready for me as soon as I walk in the door to grab it, everyone says hi and Patti gives me a hug every time I see her. There isn't any better place, in my opinion, that gives me that same welcome feeling I usually get when I walk into my moms house and smell food cooking.
